Caoimhe is ainm dom. The name set in soft colours over a rainbow, with its sound and its meaning underneath — so the grandparents know how to say it and the child grows up knowing what it means.

From caomh — dear, beloved, gentle. The same root as Caoimhín, which English turned into Kevin.
