Fiadh

FIADH — pronounced FEE-uh — wild one, of the deer.

Fiadh is ainm dom. The name set in soft colours over a rainbow, with its sound and its meaning underneath — so the grandparents know how to say it and the child grows up knowing what it means.

One of the most-given girls’ names in Ireland, and still one of the most mispronounced. It rhymes with “Nia”.

Which size
